The Ravings

I'd like to share with you what I see and hear as the Ravings of a Madman gone rogue..... and followed only by fools who cannot or will not ask some very basic questions: where is this money going to come from? As long as we spend money on foolish, aimless* wars, we will need to just keep printing money until none of it is worth the paper it is printed on. (aimless* - the current aim is to allow the elite to profit, but there is no goal of ever end the wars and plans to expand our war fronts). Give this some serious thought, because very soon you will each have to make a choice about the future of this country. Probably sooner than you think.....

When the US spents almost 2/3 of their gross national product on defense than to justify that we have to be
involve in a war and that fact will never change.

I hear what you are all saying. I just read this morning that there is a call out for post 9/11 vet's to apply for the stop loss payment, if you are extended beyond you seperation date you will get $500.00 per month. Thats great!!! How many of us caught the 4 month extension for Vietnam? Well I am one and they didn't offer me s##t. I was told at the time that it was brought up but seeing the extension was only for the Navy and USMC the Army and Airforce said they would extend too. Well that would have been too much money comming out of McNamera's pocket so they dropped the whole thing. Since I've retired and the help with the internet I have been following politics and I wish I had chosen get off this board! instead, they say vote and I always have, but it don't matter a damn bit, they all screw us. Now they want to screw with social security, medicare, and want to screw with the DVA by co-pays. I don't hear one word about cutting congress wages because they do nothing to earn a dime but they all draw down $174,000 plus perks a year. Any of you made that much by doing nothing? Well thats my rant for today unless some more bad new's shows up. Maybe I will turn this machine off and kick back and have a scotch. Dale [dward]
