I spoke to J.R. yesterday and he agreed that he wanted to upgrade to 3.0.5. He has heard that 3.0.5 is stable and I believe that Dak pretty much confirmed it with his illustrations.

He's indicated that he will allow me to interface with our host and get their assistance with the upgrade. A full backup will get done to allow us to go back should anything undesireable occur. This is a host provided upgrade.

My host supplies Fantastico De Luxe for application installation and it was a breeze to upgrade to 3.0.5. The attempt to upgrade to 3.0.6 was a disaster, using the "official" upgrade from the phpBB3 site.
