I WILL BE GLAD TO HELP ALL I CAN. I LIVE IN ANNAPOLIS CLOSE TO WASHINGTON AND HAVE EXPERIENCE DEALING WITH MEMBER OF THE CONGRESS.
NOT ALL GOOD AS ONE MIGHT EXPECT, BUT I CAN WRITE LETTERS, SEND FAXES, SIT IN FRONT OF THE CAPITOL WITH A SIGN.

Ok Flyingpanning,
I will get your name to SusieQ who is our Project Manager on this massive attack. She is in command headquarters and provides great combat strategy. Hang tight, we run a tight ship and battle full scale! :P

If you'll get me some reliable contact information, I'd be glad to handle Michigan. My individual letter and email campaign has not been successful. Give me a shout.

Max

Once again I've contacted my congressman's office and was told that he would be given the message, I also called Patty Murray's DC office and the person I talked to said that she has been getting a lot of calls and emails on S1939. I emailed senator Cantwell again today and I plan to call later. Some day's you just want to give up but at my/our age maybe the fight is what is keeping us going forward. dward [Dale]

Guys, there are enough Congressmen to get that side of the bill passed. Stay on your Senators. That's now who we need to get on board.

I have emailed and called the two senators from Minnesota. They are aware of this bill and are reviewing it. I will keep following up.

Heh, I'd think those guys, along with the ND guys would be all over S1939. Only Dorgan from ND has signed on so far. My family is back there and are working on Conrad.

I went to a "Tea Party" meeting the other night. One of Candice Miller's staffers was there so I cornered him after the meeting. I told him about the Blue Water problem and he admitted ignorance. He was very polite and agreed to call Representative Miller and get some action going.

That was night before last and I followed up with an email yesterday. So far, no call back or email, but I'm still hoping. I'll give him till Monday, then I'll call his office. That's only one, but I guess that's the only way we can get it done.

Our strongest allies are the advocacy groups who have hearings scheduled in the house and senate.

We need to be sure we are on their agenda as topics of discussion when they have the ear of the subcommittes.
We will have exposure to more than one legislator at a time at that point.

It looks like we missed the hearing yesterday, and can only hope we were in there somewhere.

I will be happy to help any way I can to help. Even though my husband had boots on ground. I'll still be fighting for the rest of the BWN Vets to see that they get the justice that they need and deserve

Vetwife,
Thank you for volunteering. I'm hoping that by now someone has gotten back in touch with you. If not, please sent me an email.
