I have an active VA claim. It is on appeal and it is over a year that I put
in the claim. I believe it is on hold awaiting the Haas result.

I noticed at the BVA web site that it seems some claims are on hold due to Haas- but shouldn't be on hold-

In my opinion -any AO BWN claim that was pending or filed within the 6 months or so that Haas was Law of the Land- should be adjudicated under Haas as it stood before the VA started to fight it.

As I recall NVLSP urged at the time- for BWN AO vets to file their claims ASAP -if they had not done so yet to get into that brief window of the CAVC Haas decision-

I dont think the VA knows what they are doing- the moratorium did not comply with the law anyhow-but what better way not to deal with any of these claims and use the Stay as an excuse-

One can only hope that the pending Haas decision might clarify everything-
and give BlueWVN vets what they deserve -due to exposure to AO.

Brown Water (within Vietnam)becomes 'Blue water' anyhow as all rivers and tributaries in Vietnam eventually discharge into the Pacific.

Common sense and geographic fact seem to allude the VA.
