Me TOO

Postby Ken Hummel » Fri Dec 21, 2007 7:30 pm

I have an active claim for prostate cancer since 5/06 after being diagnosed with it in March or April/06 and experiencing Volume study, and taking core sample of the prostate....an experience that really sucks.

I also won a PTSD claim after 11 years, 4 appeals, visiting numerous head doctors, and eventually received a 10% disability rating for surviveing an explosion of a boiler on our ship in 1973, which I am going to pursue hear real soon to increase after all the BS I have had to endure with fighting this claim for Prostate Cancer.

Active claim for Chronic Lymphocitic Leukemia since Dec. 2005. Was "Haas Cased" (I love that wording!) in Dec. 06.

Hanging on by my fingernails.

miracle worker at BVA

I had my cll claim granted about a week or two before they put a hold on all /or nearly all agent orange claims. After speaking with a judge it only took the bva about 6-8 months to grant my claim using the VSM as the basis. I have a retroactive claim for my cll back to 1995 that is on hold now because of the haas stay so i really sypathize with everyone that are getting shafted by this stay. For anyone that lives in a farming area it is interesting to me that when farmers spray cotton or any other crop that you can breath and smell the fumes from this spray for some distance but yet the AO sprayed in nam can not burst thru the curtain put around the land mass there. The judge apparently pushed my claim thru beore the stay because this scenario usually takes anywhere from over a year to two years.
