I'm not sure of what is available through V.A. but I read through the directive and it sounds like a lot of red tape to me...

Anyway, I discovered a place online called Zenni Optical. They have hundreds of frames beginning at $8.00 (which includes the frames). Believe it or not, their frames are stylish and well made and although made in China, the ones sold at optical shops and optometrists offices are made there too.

Let's face it, it is almost impossible these days to find anything that isn't..

At the end of the day, many of us are on fixed incomes, and need every break we can get. Further, you may think that you will get glasses that are off and have a crappy prescription. Not true at all!

I have several pairs and my wife has several, all of which are perfect. She got prescription sunglasses for 12.45 which was for frame, lenses, and tint. Hell, they even throw in a very nice case and cleaning cloth (actually it's kind of hokey but it works).

The have half frame, rimless, titanium, memory frames, men's, women's, kids, etc. you name it...

Remember all frame prices include the lenses...

Sorry, but in one sentence, I put that the frames included the frames. Duh! I would hope so.... I meant to say that the frames included the lenses....
