This site has been created for at least 3 purposes:
- 1) To keep an up-to-date Status Report of items and events of interest to the Blue Water Navy as regards exposure during the Vietnam War to various toxins and dioxins.
- 2) To present compiled information related to dioxin and other toxic contamination. Some of this information is general in nature, but the primary focus is the presentation of material directly related to contamination of naval personnel who operated in the South China Sea during the U.S. Vietnam War, roughly between 1965 and 1973.
- 3) To provide primary source material that can be used by naval personnel in substantiating medical claims of toxin contamination which may have occurred during the time frame of roughly 1965 to 1973. This material can be attached directly to VA Disability Claims in support of dioxin contamination, and can be used as reference when talking to medical care providers about symptoms similar to those reported by individuals suffering from dioxin contamination.
The documents are provided in PDF format and are intended for you to download to your machine rather than view them online. In order to read a .pdf file on most operating systems, you will need software such as Adobe Reader or Foxit Reader which can be downloaded FOR FREE at those links.

We will attempt to present it in a logical fashion in an understandable and easy-to-navigate layout. Many of the sections will expand upon or provide support to information found in other sections. Most of this information can be cross-referenced to validate data between various documents.
