Before I begin I want to say, remember THERE IS NO DRAFT TODAY, IT IS ALL VOLUNTARY
I read an article this morning about Illegal Immigrants being deported. There is about 1000 of them, all vets of Irag, etc. Most of them were brought into this country at an early age ( 3-10 year olds) by their parents. They grew up not knowing that they were really not Citizens and in fact believing they were. After enlisting VOLUNTARILY in the Armed Forces and serving their 4 years defending this country and writing that "blank check" JR talks about they were honorably discharged. Ah Ha.... a paper trail. The government now found all of them and rather than grant them Citizenship for their service to the Country they have them imprisoned awaiting deportation. I feel they are getting shafted the same as we are.
That's my story and I'll stick to it

This is something that Senator Reid has been mentioning doing which his oponant has run with during this election to allow illegal's to get all the perks from our government. I am sure a few of you recall that we had others from different parts of the world join our military, and it wasn't that big of a deal. The Phillipinoes, the Aussies and Brits all did it, so I have no problem if Reid is willing to allow Hispanics to become citizens if they serve this nation they wish to live in, to me, it is the right thing to do by both of them, however, make sure you do the time and get an honorable discharge out of it.

I want to join in.
If these fellow Vets, have honorable discharges, no fellonies. they should be citizens.!
We (the US) were or has been pioneered by imigrants. Like at the Alamo, voluneers from 21 states and 7 countries agreed they would rather fight to the death, than to surrender to Mexico's centerist Gov. & Army. Than pay the Higher levies to stay or occupy the Texas frontier.

Whey is this present administration holding these Veterans?

Yours,
