I stumbled across this site and it seemed to me that there might be a member of BWN or a surviving spouse that could use a vehicle.

The outfit seems legit and they offer opportunities to donate a car or receive one, if in need of transportation.

Just thought someone out there might need the assist.

By the way Max, operable donated vehicles are not given to needy vets, they are sold to the highest bidder.
This process is the same as many other charities who ask for donated vehicles.

What happens to my vehicle after I donate?

Your vehicle is sold at the highest possible value and the title will be transferred out of your name according to state law.

Nothing to apologize for Max. It's all good and if someone has a vehicle that they want to donate, I'd guess the VVA would be as good as any of them who do this kind of thing.
The problem, as I see it, is these charities hire marketing firms and other people to handle this kind of thing and the amount of money the charity actually ends up with is, or can be, quite small, sometimes as little as 10%.
If you ever get phone calls from various charities soliciting donations ask the caller if he is an actual member of, or a volunteer for, that charity or if they work for another agency acting on behalf of the named charity. The next question is how much of the donation goes to the charity and if that answer is not readily available the dollar amount won't be much.
