USS ARIZONA

I like it when I'm talking "Navy" with friends, family etc and the topic of Battle Ships comes up. The majority of people say we no longer have any Battle Ships, the Wisconsin was the last one decommissioned and I quickly inform them that we do have a commissioned Battle Ship right now. The Arizona. Never forget the 1000+ shipmates still aboard her, May they rest in peace.

My Uncle, My dad's brother was on the Arizona. Not at Pearl Harbor but for a few years, and had gotten transferered just before Pearl. I grew up listening to stories about how great of a ship she was. The Boxing Matches, ports of call and such.
