AT LEAST WE'RE NOT ALONE

Postby STABAC » Sun Dec 06, 2009 4:17 pm

"Congress can act very quickly sometimes and very slowly other times," said Dr. John Jenkins, FDA's director of new drugs. "And sometimes they don't act at all."

I was reading an article concerning closer regulation of powerful pain killers, morphine, oxycodine, etc and came upon this quote and simply said "ain't that the truth!!??"

Maybe thats our problem, Frank,, or rather,, their problem,,, or rather,, maybe both our problems

they have been acting all this time, instead of Legislating..

Of course, we all know how they love the Hollywood types, and probably endeavor to star in their own show someday..

I learned acting at a young age, at my Mother's persistence.. (Go to your room until you learn how to act)

Coming out of the room, and doing a line from Gone with the Wind, was the wrong thing to do, lol (Frankly my dear, I dont give a damn)

I remember my step dad coming home from work one time, and he asked me why I had not cut the grass. I told him "I Forgot"

He asked me, what if HE Forgot, to go to work?

I said, "well, then YOU could have cut the grass!"

Worse whupping I think I ever got... LOL

Thats my story, and Im sticking to it, Frank,, LOL
