sorry for the mistakes and other things

Postby TheFith » Sun May 10, 2009 7:20 pm

As a result of my mistakes in my postings, I will not be posting to the BWN issues forum in the future....
Sorry folks, but when a person is treated like an idiot, he feels insulted. Let's watch and see if this post gets deleted or not.
If anyone would like to contact me about issues with Filner or anything else dealing with agent orange, please feel free send me pm's or just send it to my email [email protected].
This is a sad day for me,I feel I have worked hard to keep everyone informed on what is going on with this issue. To be treated like dirt from a fellow BWN person hurts more than I can tell you.
I put this posting here because it does deal with BWN issues,so I don't think I will be spanked and told to move it.
I will put this up as an announcement also so that I have it in another place if this is not the correct place for this.

What the hell is this all about?? If some of your posts were deleted before I got to read them then of course I have no idea what you're talking about, Terry. I don't want to send you a PM or e-mail, I want everyone to read my opinion! You have no reason to apologize for anything as far as I'm concerned. If someone has made negative remarks about your posts they stand alone in that area, I believe.
I posted about a month ago about Exie ( or maybe it was gunlineman1, who it was isn't the point) that his posts are usually too damn long ( I may not live long enough to read it all :P ) ........... but I also said I never fail to read every single word in them because they are so informative and educated. There are about 6 members that when I see a post from I get excited because I know they will be very useful to me and all the other members, you are definitely one of those people, along with Exie and gunlineman1. I hope you will reconsider because I for one will miss your posts dearly. I would like to see others post their opinion and see how they feel!!! After all we have been through together the last several years I hate to see anyone feel as if they are not part of the team, we are sooooo close.

I too want to straighten this out. I think you get Filner info to us faster than anyone else and hate to lose some one who is trying to help by posting. I need to find out what is going on and please hang in there.

As most of you know, as the main moderator for this site, I handle most of the illegal postings, and move things to proper areas if needed. I think I am pretty lenient and don't have to get after many folks, except Ken and Frank, often. Frank and Ken- I got to keep my eye on them.

WE DO NOT NEED DIVISION IN OUR TROOPS AT THIS TIME! Stick together and we'll make it through.

Terry,I don't know what happened, but I want you to know that I value ALL of your reports and comments very much. I do not regard anything as official until I read it in one of the releases that you post. You perform a valuable service to this forum and to all members of the Blue Water Navy. Do not let one person's quick judgment cause you to make a quick judgment that we all might regret.

Thanks for everyone's support on this, I do appreciate it. However, being treated like you are in grade school again hurts.
For the good of BWN, I am still highly considering not posting any more. I would rather do that than see our group hurt by the actions of someone. Discretion, they say, is the better part of valor.
Thanks again for the support....

Okay now I have to get nasty..... you're talking like a Bos'n Mate....My gosh man you're a snipe, stand tall!!
Seriously, you have to do want is best for you. "No one left behind" but when it comes to a person's mental and physical health you must think of your self first at this point of the game. I wish you would reconsider, but I also wish you the best

FRANK,
You have such a beautiful way with words  I love your posts, they have made me laugh and made me cry at the frustration with everything that you face.
I might reconsider, but I am as you say"Standing Tall" and will do what ever is best for everyone in BWN. That may mean that I cease posting as it will do more harm than good. I don't want another persons actions because of his so called power to hurt the rest of you. He has done it to others and will continue as far as I can see. So that is why I said "Discretion is the better part of valor"
Yes I am a snipe and always will be. So fire up those boilers and smooth sailing to all..

Aw fer Cripes Sake, keep doing what you're doing Terry. I could care less where an informative thread is posted. Though I always start with the Blue Water issues I also check the general threads to see if there's anything new. If something is in the wrong place it can be moved if it's worth reading. If not it can easily be deleted so no harm, no foul in that regard.
As far as a Mothers Day thanks being posted in the Blue Water section. Hell, it fits. There are wives frequenting that forum who are mothers and who have Blue Water husbands. So, yeah, it fit the parameters, IMHO.

Keep in mind we're all old grouchy bastids and the meds don't help that.

Well, except some of them......

Terry ,
I've posted things that were blown off as stupid by some members too. Well ,,,, everyone has an opinion , some change the way I look at something ,some don't . All in all I think different opinions are fine , we don't personnaly know each other anyhow. Try not to take this stuff personal , I enjoy your posts read every one .
