Thoughts on the Tee Shirts.

Postby daklander » Sat Mar 28, 2009 9:29 am

I have some thoughts on the tee shirt design and hope I don't hurt any feelings.
The designs, as shown in the ship's store need some work. It looks to me like the design, as is, should be reduced in size and placed as a chest patch on the front. The design would work well on the back but would need to be enlarged for that application. It could also be just enlarged and left on the front but normally large designs don't look all that good on the front, at least to my eye. As it is, the designs look a bit lost and out of place.

Thanks Daklander, you know Carl was just saying the same thing the other day, that we need a bigger design of the BWNVVA seal on the BACK Of the Tshirts. I just haven't thought about it again.... maybe something we need to look into.

Good comments and worth serious consideration. Enlarging the Logo would not be hard. When run large on the shirt back, should any wording (other than the web URL just below) still be added, or should those slogans be dropped?

Personally I think the dig at the VA is great and makes a strong statement but might make it DVA or, maybe folks won't understand who the DVA is while they probably will know who the VA is. The still fighting I'm, eh......doesn't do anything for me but others may well like it.
I'd also remove the www from the url. I just don't think it's needed any longer.

Just like the front only bigger is Carl's thoughts and ideas. He mentioned it me the other day on our way to the VA. He wears his shirt there each day. The Still fighting slogan is the one I would use.....
