I live in Georgia. Can I help too? I have Senator Isakson on my facebook. I will remind him of the bills, he is on some committee about Veterans. I am not/have not been a very political person but I am ready now. Just tell me what to do

Marcie,
Count me in, My US House Rep, Lamborn. sent word that He would look at it again after the CBO came up with cost figures.
Let me know, I can get new info to Him.
Peace,

Just a thought, Marcie, email usually doesn't work because the Senators and Representative are afraid of viruses. Mail works but there is a significant delay of sometimes three or four weeks, because of the Anthrax thing a few years ago. I guess, if it gets there at all, at least they get it, eventually.
I'll make a copy and hand deliver it to Congresswoman Miller. Maybe I can get her to distribute some copies to her colleagues.

Hello Everyone,
For those we cannot hand deliver, we could copy and paste the Executive Summary and then provide the link to BWN website to download and read the rest of the DaNang Harbor report. I already gave it to my 2 senators liasons in NY.

Thanks Frank, I emailed George the link, but thanks for posting for the rest to see and download. Perhaps we should send this to our individual legislators, or better yet print it out and take it to them.

There are enough representatives who know about HR 2254 yet HR 2254 still sits in committee. We need HR 2254 to be put
to a vote and out of committee. More people knowning about it is not going to help if HR 2254 stay in committee as far as
I am concerned.

With Filner sitting on his arse, we will not see this bill HR2254 out of Committee this session of congress. Filner willnot even reply to a straight question about the bill. He just doesn't answer.
We have obtained enough co-sponsors for the bill to pass it. This is what Filner wanted and we were the people who brow beat the congress to support it. Now they are even asking questions about the bill's status. He has lost respect even amoung his equals.
We will have too start anew in January after they elect a new Chair of the Veterans Committee. Hit them full force with the past records and disregard by the VA to do anything.
