Adding a Panel to the Quilt of Tears

Postby johnr » Wed Jan 28, 2009 7:05 pm

We are in need of several volunteers to help make a panel from the BWNVVA for the Quilt of Tears. The panel must be ready for delivery April 15. This is not a complicated project. Please contact [email protected] for detailed information. The Quilt of Tears project can be seen at http://www.agentorangequiltoftears.com/

I'm trying to get the American Legion here to sponsor the display. It's on their agenda for this month and hopefully they will agree. Personally, I plan on producing two or more panels to contribute. If you want me to make a BWN square, I can probably do that. John, do you have a high resolution image that we can have digitized for embroidery. I have an embroidery machine but it is limited in size (max 4 x4 inches). If you get me a file, I can have it digitized and enlarged for bigger machines.

Hey J.R.,
I just got an email from the embroidery digitizing place that you and I spoke about a few weeks ago. They have a special during the month of April.

Any design digitized for $35.00. I just got a new embroidery machine and am planning my personal square for the quilt. I'll do a post and solicit ideas for the BWNVVA square and then I'll design a square for us.
