EMAIL APPLICATION

Postby Marcella » Wed Feb 20, 2008 10:51 pm

The eMail application should now be up and running. If you experience any difficulties, please let us know. Also, for those individuals who are using Yahoo mail, when you 'reply' to a post, it generates some additional code at the bottom of your reply. We will try and find a workaround. Use the Forum Subscriptions at top to start or stop your enrollment in the Email Service.

I got an email from Frank from the medical section concerning prostate cancer. When I responded back to the email, it came back from the BWN issues section under "Email from court of appeals". What's up with that?

The email application that we have set up is specifically tied to the Blue Water Navy Issues. Any emails from the list will always be generated from that list, and any responses, whether to that section or any other, will always show up in the Navy Issues forum. The email capability cannot jump to any other Forum or Subject. That's just the way the software package is written. We've always got our eye out for something better, but so far, that's what we've come up with.
