New York State has "Veteran" on new licenses issued by DMV. However, until recently Lowe's and Home Depot both refused a license as proof of being a veteran for discounts. Must have a VA card or active duty ID card.

However as of now, Lowe's has just changed their policy if you have an honorable then all you need to do is follow this link:

Navy Boondockers on non-skid don't count as boots on the ground. Firing 2000 rounds of 5"-38 off Song Ong Doc while being sprayed with AO from aircraft - never happened. The draft dodger at VA told me so.
